The Senior Projects Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects. They ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining quality standards and adhering to safety regulations. The role involves leading project teams, liaising with clients and vendors, and providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects from conception to completion.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and project status updates for stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in project engineering, construction management, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of engineering standards, project management principles, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
