The Piping Supervisor oversees and supervises all piping activities on construction or maintenance projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate piping installation, testing, and commissioning activities on-site.
Review piping drawings, specifications, and work procedures to ensure compliance.
Allocate tasks to piping technicians and workers, providing technical guidance and support.
Monitor work progress, productivity, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations are maintained.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to piping works promptly.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders for seamless project execution.
Maintain documentation related to piping activities, including daily reports, inspection records, and safety logs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct safety briefings, and promote a safety-conscious work environment.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
Relevant certifications in piping, scaffolding, or safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are preferred.
