Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and coordinate civil engineering drawings, technical documentation, and specifications for marine construction projects
Assist in the development of detailed design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation
Support the construction team by providing technical guidance related to civil works such as quay walls, piers, dredging, shoreline protection, and other marine infrastructure
Review and verify engineering calculations, material specifications, and method statements
Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure drawings and documentation are accurate and up-to-date
Monitor project progress against design requirements and report discrepancies or issues
Assist in site inspections to verify that construction aligns with approved drawings and standards
Maintain document control and ensure proper filing of all technical documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Proven experience as a Technical Office Engineer or similar role in Marine Construction projects
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, marine infrastructure, and construction methods
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or relevant design software
Familiarity with relevant standards, codes, and regulations within marine and civil construction
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
