Requirements
1-Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Welding Engineering.
2-5 years experience in the line pipe manufacturing industry or similar.
3-Holding Quality Management System (QMS) Lead or Internal Auditor Certification.
4- Well familiar with ASME I, II, V & IX, API 5L, 2B, AWS D1.1, etc.
5-Preferred: Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and NDT Level II.
6- Proficiency in English.
Job Responsibilities
1-Implement Quality Plan (Inspection & Test Plan) and MPS for every project.
2-Ensure quality targets are established, verified, and maintained across departments.
3-Ensure accurate quality records are documented daily and required documentation completed on time.
4-Plan and organize necessary manpower for inspection and testing activities.
5-Monitor progress of daily inspections/testing and de-bottleneck slow areas.
6-Feedback to production department on quality issues from inspection/testing.
7-Issue non-conformance reports, carry out data analysis, monitor and recommend improvement measures.
8-Assess QC inspectors’ performance, recommend/provide training or advice where needed.
9-Monitor condition of inspection/testing equipment and liaise with maintenance for preventive actions.
10-Liaise with client/TPI for daily QC progress, in-process/final inspections, and product release.
11-Prepare, follow-up, and maintain QMS and order documentation.
12-Complete other temporary/permanent tasks required by supervisors.
