Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Child Psychology (required).
Licensure/registration as per country regulations (e.g., RCI in India, HCPC in UK, or equivalent).
Additional training in child-specific therapies (e.g., play therapy, trauma-focused CBT) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments using standardized tools and clinical interviews.
Diagnose and treat emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum, trauma).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, play therapy, family therapy).
Collaborate with parents, teachers, pediatricians, and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
Provide counseling and psychoeducation to families to support ongoing development.
