A Site Engineer is responsible for managing construction sites, ensuring that building activities are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. They coordinate between on-site teams, contractors, and project managers to deliver quality construction work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily construction activities on-site.
Interpret and implement engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
Monitor work quality and ensure materials and workmanship meet project requirements.
Prepare daily progress reports, site diaries, and documentation.
Assist in resolving technical issues or construction problems.
Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
3 - 5 years of experience in construction site management or engineering.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
