A Land Surveyor with pipeline experience is responsible for conducting precise land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and site features critical for pipeline route planning, design, and construction. They work closely with engineering and construction teams to provide accurate data ensuring safe and efficient pipeline installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment for pipeline routes.
Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data to prepare maps, reports, and legal documents.
Establish and verify pipeline right-of-way boundaries and easements.
Coordinate with engineers, environmental teams, and construction crews to ensure accurate implementation of survey data.
Identify and document existing underground utilities and site obstacles.
Maintain detailed records of surveys, measurements, and project progress.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in pipeline or linear infrastructure surveying.
Familiarity with surveying instruments and modern technology (GPS, Total Station, GIS).
Knowledge of local regulations related to land surveying and pipelines.
