The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The Construction Manager leads on-site teams, manages resources, liaises with stakeholders, and ensures compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and organize construction schedules, workflows, and resources.
Manage day-to-day on-site activities and supervise construction teams and subcontractors.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, adjusting plans as needed.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and suppliers for project requirements.
Conduct site inspections and resolve any technical or operational issues.
Prepare progress reports, documentation, and cost estimates.
Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in construction management or site supervision.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Experience managing large-scale projects is preferred.
Certifications like PMP or OSHA safety training are a plus.
