A Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas in hotels, resorts, or similar hospitality establishments. They ensure rooms are prepared to high standards, providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize guest rooms including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures.
Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as per hotel standards.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor.
Restock room supplies such as minibar items, coffee, and stationery.
Follow all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
Respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries related to room service.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in proper working order.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
