A Civil Site Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing construction activities on-site to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day site activities to ensure project progress as per schedule.
Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other site personnel.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards on-site.
Prepare and maintain daily site reports, logs, and documentation.
Monitor the use of materials and resources to prevent wastage or misuse.
Assist in planning and managing site logistics.
Resolve technical issues and provide timely solutions to on-site challenges.
Conduct site inspections and ensure work aligns with project requirements.
Report progress and issues to project managers or senior engineers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
Proven experience in construction site supervision (building, roads, infrastructure, etc.).
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
Familiarity with construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera).
Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
