A Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service in restaurants, cafés, or hospitality venues. She takes orders, serves food and beverages, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains cleanliness and order in the dining area.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
Present menus, take food and drink orders accurately
Serve meals and beverages promptly and courteously
Ensure tables are clean, set, and properly maintained
Handle customer queries, complaints, or special requests politely
Process bills and handle cash or card transactions
Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations
Assist in cleaning and resetting tables between guests
Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
Upsell food and beverage items where appropriate
