A Sales Representative is responsible for selling a company’s products or services to customers by identifying leads, educating prospects, and closing deals. The role involves meeting sales targets, building strong client relationships, and staying informed about market trends to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and contact potential customers through cold calls, emails, and networking.
Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals.
Negotiate terms of sale and close deals in a timely manner.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
2 - 4 years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role.
Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
Ability to learn quickly and handle objections effectively.
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
