The Mechanical & Welding Quality Control (QC) Engineer ensures that all mechanical and welding works comply with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements on non-Aramco projects. The QC Engineer conducts inspections, monitors welding procedures, and coordinates with the construction and engineering teams to maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect mechanical and welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Review welding procedures, inspection reports, and documentation.
Conduct quality audits and tests as per API and other relevant standards.
Coordinate with site teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures during shutdown and construction activities.
Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to uphold quality standards.
Eligibility Criteria:
API certification and valid CSWIP certification required.
Experience working on non-Aramco projects.
Experience in shutdown projects is preferred.
Diploma or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of welding codes and inspection standards.
