Duties & Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Develop a Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) model for the electrical substations and distribution network.
Develop and align specific RCM process focused on equipment function (not just design), enabling targeted identification and mitigation of functional failures.
Develop, manage, update and monitor implementation of short and long-term asset management policy, strategy, initiatives and work plans for power system asset and ensure alignment with overall company Strategic Asset Management Program.
Manage PS owned Substations by deploying Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) Program.
Manage Power Systems HV Electrical Equipment Life Cycle Managements Process.
Evaluate risk-based maintenance methodology based on likelihood and consequences.
Provide technical guidance and tools in the area of risk and reliability assessment and management to work groups involved with distribution infrastructure replacement, substation infrastructure replacement, and transmission infrastructure replacement.
Perform Asset failure trending and analysis. Identify repetitive failures and perform RCA to avoid reoccurrence of failures.
Perform data analysis using techniques (APM, RCA, Six Sigma (6σ) etc..). Calculate and update the asset KPI’s. Issue reliability program monthly reports (MTBF, MTTR, bad actors, etc) updating the equipment health progress, and reporting failures and successes.
Provide technical information for field unreliability events backed up with equipment history & process data intended for area maintenance. Review the PM Defect Reports and evaluate corrective actions. Communicate with venders, suppliers and manufacturers for equipment reliability support.
Supervise the documentation and development of asset inventory for each class of assets, asset condition, level of service and performance, risk signature, maintenance strategies, repair/replacement models, financial forecasts, and tactical and work plans.
