Electrical Engineer – Solar & Substation

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in solar and substation projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical systems, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar and substation electrical systems.
Manage HV/MV electrical works, including cabling, switchgear, and protection systems.
Implement and monitor LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and PTW (Permit to Work) procedures to ensure safe operations.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors during project execution.
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and as-built documentation.
Ensure compliance with KSA regulations and international safety standards.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues on-site.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5 – 8 years of experience in solar projects and substations.
Strong knowledge of HV/MV systems, protection schemes, and cabling.
Familiarity with LOTO, PTW, and electrical safety standards.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced project environments and ensure quality standards.
