Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for piping materials and equipment.
Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotation) and analyze vendor proposals.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
Raise purchase orders and track delivery schedules to meet project timelines.
Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure material specifications are met.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier databases and purchase documentation.
Monitor vendor performance and resolve supply chain issues or delays.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and project requirements.
Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and optimize procurement processes.
Experience:
5–10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in piping, oil & gas, or construction projects.
Experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects is an advantage.
