Purchasing Coordinator
Job Location : Saudi Arabia
Qualifications & Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical procurement, SFDA compliance, or import logistics.
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment, consumables, and healthcare supply chains.
• Proven experience in: Shipment coordination, Import documentation, Supplier and vendor management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement-related software/ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities :
• Handle purchase requests from various departments for medical equipment, consumables, and supplies.
• Prepare, issue, and process purchase orders in line with approved requests and budgets.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier quotations, price lists, and purchase history.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Support vendor evaluation and supplier performance monitoring.
• Ensure all medical procurement activities comply with SFDA regulations and applicable healthcare standards.
• Verify that suppliers, products, and documentation meet regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on shipments, delivery schedules, and lead times.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, import paperwork, and customs clearance processes.
• Coordinate with logistics partners and relevant authorities to avoid delays.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to understand material needs and priorities.
• Assist in budgeting and procurement planning in collaboration with the finance team.
• Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for savings.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and documentation across all procurement records.
• Ensure proper filing of contracts, agreements, invoices, and customs documents.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems.
