AC Technician

Location: Manama, Bahrain

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including split units, package units, window ACs, VRF/VRV systems, and chiller units.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in air-conditioning systems using testing tools and instruments.
• Perform repairs for compressors, fan motors, thermostats, PCB boards, and refrigerant piping.
• Handle refrigerant recovery, charging, leak testing, brazing, and welding as required.
• Respond to daily maintenance requests and ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Maintain service logs, job cards, and checklists for all completed work.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of tools, PPE, and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors, team leaders, and other technicians to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or related technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Basic understanding of BMS and control systems is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
