Electrical Draftsman (Aramco Experience)

Qualifications:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Drafting / Electrical Engineering
Mandatory: Experience working on Saudi Aramco projects
3–7 years of experience in electrical drafting for oil & gas, EPC, or industrial projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or relevant drafting software
Familiarity with Aramco CAD standards, SAES, and project documentation requirements


Responsibilities:
Prepare and revise electrical drawings including SLDs, grounding layouts, lighting layouts, cable routing, schematics, and panel schedules
Ensure drawings comply with Saudi Aramco drafting standards and project requirements
Coordinate with Electrical Design Engineers and other disciplines
Review vendor drawings and incorporate required changes
Maintain organized drawing files, databases, and revision control
Assist in preparing bill of quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs
Support site teams with updated drawings and documentation
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all drawings
Attend design and coordination meetings as required

Skills Required:
Strong AutoCAD and electrical drafting skills
Good understanding of electrical systems and engineering drawings
Experience preparing drawings for oil & gas facilities
Knowledge of Aramco CAD requirements and SAES standards
Attention to detail and strong document control discipline
