Responsibilities
Manage subcontracting processes across EPC and maintenance/shutdown projects.
Evaluate, pre-qualify, and select subcontractors in line with project and company standards.
Draft, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, codes, and project specifications in all subcontracted works.
Monitor subcontractor performance including progress, quality, and cost control.
Assist in cost reconciliation, variations, and claims related to subcontractors.
Coordinate effectively between subcontractors and internal project teams to ensure smooth execution.
Support both proposal and post-award subcontracting phases for relevant projects.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and participate in risk assessments for subcontracted activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BE) in Engineering.
Total Experience: 3–5 years.
Relevant Subcontracting Experience: Minimum 2 years.
Middle East Experience: 1–2 years preferred.
Maximum age: 35 years.
Nationality: Open to all suitable candidates; female candidates are encouraged to apply.
Languages: English (mandatory); Urdu / Hindi preferred.
Key Technical Skills
Strong understanding of subcontracting processes and lifecycle.
Experience in evaluating, selecting, and managing subcontractors.
Ability to draft and negotiate subcontract agreements.
Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and project specifications.
Experience in monitoring subcontractor performance and cost reconciliation.
Awareness of HSE standards and risk management in subcontracting.
Proven coordination skills between subcontractors and internal project teams.
Experience with maintenance, shutdown (SD), and EPC subcontracting tasks (proposal & post-award).
Certifications & Tools
Proficiency in SAP.
Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with FIDIC contract principles.
