Job Overview
Al-Asala Colleges is seeking a talented and motivated Application Developer to join its growing technical team. The successful candidate will take part in developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using modern technologies to support educational platforms and digital transformation initiatives.

Core Functions

Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
Manage and optimize MySQL databases to ensure high performance and reliability.
Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular/React frameworks.
Develop, integrate, and test RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with team members on projects using Git.
Ensure high technical performance and exceptional user experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

Analyze technical requirements and implement integrated software solutions.
Conduct application testing, fix bugs, and ensure code quality.
Improve systems architecture and follow best development practices.
Prepare development documentation, technical updates, and project reports.
Contribute to the development of new features and enhancement of existing systems.
Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to ensure system alignment with institutional needs.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL.
Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
Knowledge of WordPress, CMS systems, Linux, and Bootstrap.
Strong understanding of OOP principles; AWS experience is an added advantage.
4 to 6 years of experience in web application development.
