Key responsibilities
Create and distribute daily and hourly content produced by the Time Out team across brand social media accounts.
Ensure daily content targets and goals are met, and content is posted at newsroom speed.
Identify the best platform for a particular piece of content, deliver it creatively and to a high editorial standard, across media including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube and WhatsApp.
Alongside the Editor in Chief, plan, keep and execute a social media calendar in line with the overall editorial strategy and calendar.
Work with the Time Out editorial team to ensure our social media strategy informs and contributes to the overall editorial content strategy and calendar.
Work with the Editor in Chief to ensure ALL content reflects overall content / editorial strategy.
Devise a social media strategy that reaches, engages, informs and entertains a large audience, within the Time Out voice and brand guidelines.
Have your eyes on the next big thing – whether social media platform or trend on an existing platform, and quickly identify how Time Out can activate.

Robust experience across a wide range of social media platforms.
Confidence going out and about, shooting video on smartphones to create killer social content.
Social media reporting experience.
Ability to self-supervise and meet deadlines.
Education: Must be educated to degree level or equivalent industry qualification.
Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English, spoken and written Arabic desirable.
