Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and quality checks for mechanical works such as HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and piping systems.
Review project specifications, mechanical drawings, and method statements.
Monitor installation work to ensure compliance with standards and approved procedures.
Perform testing and commissioning of mechanical systems as required.
Prepare QC documentation including inspection requests, reports, and checklists.
Identify non-conformances, propose corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors regarding quality matters.
Maintain quality control records and ensure proper documentation for audits.
Ensure all activities comply with safety and project quality plans.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience as a Mechanical QC Inspector (construction/MEP projects).
Strong knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and standards.
Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and project documentation.
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.) is an advantage.
