Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to join our Procurement Department in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have min 3 years of relevant procurement experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of supply chain and purchasing procedures. You will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery timelines.
Request and review quotations; analyze pricing and commercial terms.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are met.
Monitor inventory levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Assist in vendor performance evaluation and maintain supplier relationships.
Prepare procurement reports for management review.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain principles, and local/international sourcing.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of UAE market and import regulations is a plus.
