Valve Technician

Responsibilities:
Perform valve removal, dismantling, inspection, repair, assembly, testing, and installation for control and manual valves.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical faults during valve servicing.
Ensure all maintenance work meets quality, safety, and technical standards.
Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of valves and associated equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, datasheets, and technical manuals.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and testing reports.
Follow all site safety protocols and participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
Coordinate with supervisors and engineers to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.

Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
Technical Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in valve servicing, refurbishment, and maintenance (control & manual valves).
Strong knowledge of valve types such as ball, gate, globe, check, and control valves.
Experience in hydro testing, pressure testing, and actuator calibration.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in shutdown or industrial project environments.
Good communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
Must be available in Qatar with valid QID & transferable visa (NOC).
Immediate joiners preferred.
