Qualifications:
High School / Technical School / ITI certification in pipe fitting, plumbing, or mechanical trade.
Vocational training or certification in welding or piping systems is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for piping systems.
Install, assemble, and fit pipes, valves, and related equipment accurately.
Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes as required.
Inspect piping systems for leaks, corrosion, and other defects.
Perform routine maintenance and repair of existing pipe installations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper condition.
Prepare reports on work progress and issues encountered.
Requirements:
2–5 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in construction, industrial, or maintenance projects.
Knowledge of welding, threading, and pipe fitting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
