Job Title: Welding QC Supervisor – Aramco Approved CBT
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Welding Engineering, or Metallurgy
Aramco Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or CBT approved
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, standards, and inspection methods
Familiarity with ISO, ASME, AWS, and other relevant welding codes
Responsibilities:
Supervise welding activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and codes
Conduct quality inspections of welding works, including visual, dimensional, and NDT checks
Approve welding procedures, materials, and consumables before use
Maintain accurate inspection reports, documentation, and records
Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve welding quality issues
Ensure adherence to safety standards and Aramco project requirements
Provide guidance and training to welding personnel on quality and safety standards
Requirements:
5–10 years of experience in welding quality control or inspection
Aramco CBT or equivalent certification is mandatory
Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, etc.)
Excellent analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead a QC team and work on-site under challenging conditions
Good communication and reporting skills
