Job Title: QC Welding Inspector
Location: Saudi Arabia
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Welding Engineering
CBT passed (mandatory)
ARAMCO approval/certification required for interview
Strong knowledge of welding procedures, WPS, PQR, and welding codes (AWS, ASME, API)
Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, CWI) preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform inspections of welding activities, joints, and materials as per project requirements
Review and verify WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications
Conduct visual inspection (VT) and coordinate NDT activities
Ensure welding activities comply with ARAMCO standards and specifications
Maintain inspection records, reports, and documentation accurately
Monitor welding parameters, consumables, and environmental conditions
Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and QA/QC teams
Requirements:
CBT Certificate – mandatory
ARAMCO Certificate/Approval – mandatory for interview
5–7 years of experience as a Welding QC Inspector in oil & gas projects
Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW)
Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills
Ability to work on-site following strict safety and quality standards
