Pilates Reformer Position
Responsibilities:
• Design and lead Pilates classes that cater to participants of varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Instruct clients on proper techniques, form, and breathing patterns to ensure a safe and effective
workout.
• Provide individualized attention and modifications to meet the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Demonstrate exercises and assist clients in performing movements correctly.
• Create a positive and supportive environment during classes, encouraging clients to challenge themselves
while maintaining proper technique and alignment.
• Develop class plans that incorporate a variety of exercises to promote overall strength, flexibility, and
balance.
• Educate clients about the benefits of Pilates and how it can contribute to their overall health and wellbeing.
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field to integrate new techniques and exercises
into classes.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and
functioning.
• Communicate with clients to understand their fitness goals and track their progress throughout their
Pilates journey.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching group or private classes.
• Certified Pilates Instructor with a reputable Pilates certification (e.g., Pilates Method Alliance (PMA),
Balanced Body, Stott Pilates, Lagree, or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading group classes, with a strong understanding of various techniques and
principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and provide
constructive feedback.
• A passion for health and wellness, with a commitment to helping individuals achieve their fitness goals.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a class effectively while catering to the needs of
multiple participants.
• Ability to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere to motivate clients and foster a sense of
community within the studio.
• CPR certification is preferred.
