Candidate should have oil & gas experience
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician with a strong background in the oil and gas industry to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in oil and gas facilities.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Work with high-voltage and low-voltage systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, local regulations, and international safety codes.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to support project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and repairs.
- Adhere strictly to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an electrician in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems in hazardous environments (ATEX, IEC standards).
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco specifications and local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and equipment.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with explosion-proof equipment and intrinsically safe systems.
- Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in multicultural teams.
