2. JOB PURPOSE:
Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies, materials, parts, tools, and equipment necessary to provide timely service in a cost effective manner. Acquire special order items efficiently and cost effectively. (other duties may be assigned)
4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Description
Issue and receive materials to and from direct labor teams and contractors.
Perform routine stock checks, including cycle counts and stock rotation, in line with company quality procedures.
Safely check and unload deliveries, ensuring they are placed in designated storage areas.
Receive fuel deliveries in a safe and controlled manner, adhering to safety protocols.
Serve credit and cash customers at the stores counter professionally and efficiently.
Input stock movements and transactions into the stores management system.
Assist in placing purchase orders under the guidance of the Stores Manager or during their absence.
Assist in organizing and maintaining the main store and temporary off-site storage locations.
Ensure the store and yard areas are clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards.
Respond promptly to emergency requests for issuing materials outside regular working hours as part of the stores team.

The Storekeeper responsible for the materials and supplies in the plant, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and issuance while adhering to food safety and quality standards and supports production by maintaining accurate inventory, optimizing stock levels, and coordinating with teams to prevent delays. Attention to detail, compliance, and organization are essential for ensuring smooth operations and meeting regulatory requirements.
