We are seeking an experienced Masoning Chargehand with proven Gulf region experience to oversee and coordinate masonry works on construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will lead a team of masons and helpers, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct masons, helpers, and laborers in block work, plastering, tiling, and finishing.
- Plan daily work schedules and allocate tasks to team members.
- Ensure proper execution of masonry works as per drawings, specifications, and site instructions.
- Inspect completed work for quality, alignment, and finishing standards.
- Prepare and mix mortar, cement, and plaster when required, ensuring correct proportions.
- Maintain records of manpower, materials, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and project managers to meet deadlines.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Train and mentor junior masons and helpers to improve skills and productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of Gulf experience in masonry, with at least 2–3 years in a chargehand/supervisory role.
