Job Overview:
We are hiring a RAN Optimization Engineer to support advanced 4G/5G network tuning and performance optimization across Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on improving SLA KPIs, analyzing drive test and network performance, coordinating with Ericsson and cross-functional teams, and leveraging automation + AI/ML to enhance optimization activities. Candidates with strong RAN expertise and a performance-driven mindset are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform 4G/5G network tuning and optimization to achieve SLA KPIs
Analyze drive test results and overall network performance trends
Understand Software RAN features, traffic strategies, and optimization impacts
Coordinate with Ericsson teams (Operations, Design, Core, Projects) for execution and alignment
Conduct parameter audits, KPI monitoring, and continuous optimization actions
Handle VIP complaints across 2G/3G/4G/5G networks with fast resolution and root-cause analysis
Optimize 2G/3G/LTE clusters to maintain competitive QoS and user experience
Utilize AI/ML, automation, and coding to improve efficiency and accuracy in optimization work
Work with Customer Experience Management (CEM) probing solutions for insight-driven improvements

Collect, understand, and document customer requirements and expectations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Telecom Engineering or a related field
3–5 years of relevant RAN Optimization experience
Strong automation and AI skills (mandatory)
Preferably currently based in KSA with a valid Iqama
