We are hiring a Land Surveyor for a Rail Project in Oman. The role involves conducting land and site surveys to support construction and infrastructure works, ensuring accurate measurements, reliable data collection, and compliance with design plans and regulations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in field surveying, setting out, and working closely with multidisciplinary site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct land, topographic, and boundary surveys using Total Station, GPS, and leveling instruments
Measure distances, angles, and elevations; verify accuracy and consistency of survey data
Prepare and maintain survey records, drawings, and reports
Support construction teams with setting out, leveling, and alignment works on site
Interpret drawings, maps, and technical documents to ensure correct execution
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to meet project requirements
Ensure compliance with project standards, regulations, and approved design plans

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
Proficient in Total Station, GPS, and leveling instruments
Basic knowledge of surveying software and documentation practices
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently on site
