Mechanical Lead Technician
Job Location : Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a crew of technicians in performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Receive work orders from planners/supervisors, allocate tasks, and ensure the team has the correct tools, parts, and instructions.
• Perform the most skilled mechanical tasks while providing direct guidance and oversight to the team.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures (LOTO, PTW, JSA) and quality standards for all work.
• Provide daily feedback on job progress, challenges, and completion status to the supervisor.
• Conduct toolbox talks and pre-job safety briefings.
• Validate the quality of work performed by technicians before job closure.
• Assist in the on-the-job training and skill development of junior technicians.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related trade certificate.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with demonstrated leadership experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance crafts (fitting, machining, rigging, welding basics).
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of maintenance work processes and CMMS utilization.
