Job Overview:
Memaar Building Systems is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer (Structural Steel) to join its team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication QA activities, strong knowledge of quality systems, and relevant international certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute and monitor QA activities related to structural steel fabrication
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems
Support and contribute to AISC certification processes
Conduct inspections related to welding, painting, and fabrication
Coordinate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met
Prepare QA documentation, reports, and audit records
Requirements:
BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
2–3 years of experience in QA activities related to structural steel fabrication
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor / Auditor certification
Proven contribution to AISC certification (mandatory)
Certification in AWS-CWI or CSWIP 3.2
NACE Level 1 or 2 Painting Inspector certification
