Qualification (minimum): Degree (B.Sc. / B. Tech / BE) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience (minimum): 10 - 12 years of relevant maintenance experience of which at least 5 years in Oil & Gas industry in a Planning Engineer position.
Job Description & Responsibilities
* Develop, plan and schedule preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities for Steel equipment based on long term and Midterm Maintenance plan and Annual Work Schedule (AWS).
* Prepare Annual, Monthly, Weekly Work Plans and schedules. Coordinate with operations, other sections within the organization to minimize disruptions and down time. Prioritize maintenance tasks based on criticality, safety, and operational requirements.
* Review the work requests and Issue workorders in CMMS to perform the tasks. Determine the backlog for the development of timely and precise work orders and schedules.
* Knowledge and ability to evaluate all work orders to be planned, understanding the need to get the correct resources, equipment, work instructions, and parts identified prior to scheduling the work to optimise the wrench time.
* Utilize previous repair history, condition monitoring data, and personnel feedback to ensure the appropriate scope of work is developed
* Participate in the cost estimating process for services and materials by coordinating with PI-CN/vendors and internal clients during the bid package development, schedule, and lead job plan discussions with all stakeholders.
* Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyse corrective and preventive maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities and to provide input for refining and improving work quality of the work.
