Job Title:
Safety Officer – NEBOSH Certified
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma / Graduate in Engineering or relevant field
NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory
Proven experience in industrial construction, power plants, or heavy civil works
Minimum 5+ years of relevant safety experience preferred
Building construction experience will NOT be considered
Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at industrial project sites
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards, permits, and method statements
Coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC teams, and subcontractors on safety matters
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions
Investigate incidents and near-misses and prepare detailed reports
Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols
Support audits and ensure readiness for client and regulatory inspections
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices, QA/QC systems, and construction procedures
WPR (Work Permit Receiver) certification preferred for site-based roles
Ability to work in industrial environments and power plant sites
Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills
