A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Supervising banquet service operations during conferences, weddings, and special events.
- Assisting in the setup of banquet halls, meeting rooms, and function areas as per approved BEOs.
- Briefing banquet associates on service flow, timing, and guest expectations.
- Ensuring high standards of food and beverage service throughout events.
- Monitoring cleanliness, setup standards, and overall presentation of function areas.
- Supporting the Banquet Captain in coordinating with Culinary, Stewarding, Sales, and Events teams.
- Handling guest requests and concerns professionally during events.
- Assisting with staff duty allocation and on-the-job training.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Supporting post-event breakdown and reset of banquet venues.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience as a Banquet Supervisor or Senior Banquet Waiter, preferably in a hotel or large banquet operation.
- Good knowledge of banquet service procedures, setups, and event operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Good command of English; Arabic language will be an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Well-groomed appearance with a professional and service-oriented attitude.
