Job Overview
Baran Company Limited is seeking a Planning Engineer to manage and optimize project schedules for construction and general projects in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of project planning experience, strong expertise in Primavera P6, and proficiency in Excel or Power BI for progress tracking and reporting.
This role is integral to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards. Candidates will gain exposure to large-scale construction projects, advance their planning and reporting skills, and have opportunities for professional development and career growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules, including baseline creation and updates using Primavera P6.
Set up WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and track project progress.
Prepare Earned Value (EV) reports, delay analyses, and weekly/monthly dashboards.
Coordinate planning activities with site teams and cost control departments.
Ensure timely reporting and effective communication of project status.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in project scheduling and reporting processes.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in construction or general project planning.
Strong expertise in Primavera P6 (scheduling, baselines, updates).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and meet deadlines.
