Job Overview:
Astron Oman is seeking an experienced QC Inspector – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) to join their oil and gas project teams. This position is crucial for ensuring quality compliance and adherence to industry standards across all E&I installations and systems.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of inspection work in the Middle East oil and gas sector, with PDO/OXY approvals highly preferred. This role offers opportunities for career growth into senior inspection and quality management positions, as well as professional development through exposure to advanced quality audit practices and standards.
Candidates will contribute directly to project safety, reliability, and compliance, making this a high-impact role within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspection and quality assurance for Electrical & Instrumentation systems in oil and gas projects
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with company and client standards (PDO / OXY approvals preferred)
Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and documentation
Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues
Maintain accurate records and report findings to management
Participate in safety and quality meetings and audits

Requirements & Qualifications:
HNC, HND, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering
Minimum 10 years overall experience
At least 5 years as an E&I Inspector in oil and gas projects
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Middle East region
PDO / OXY approval highly preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Proficient in MS Office and quality audit practices

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth:
Average Market Salary (Estimated): OMR 1,200 – 1,800 per month (based on role, experience, and Oman oil & gas market)
