Job Title: Secondary Physics Teacher / HOD – AS & A Levels
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Physics or Education
Teaching certification/license relevant to secondary education
Leadership training or HOD experience is a plus
Experience:
3–7 years of experience teaching Physics at secondary level
Proven experience in AS & A Level curriculum delivery
Leadership experience preferred for HOD positions
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver Physics lessons for AS & A Level students
Develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies aligned with international standards
Monitor and evaluate student performance and progress
Manage departmental resources, teaching staff, and departmental activities (for HOD role)
Provide mentorship and guidance to students and junior teachers
Maintain a positive, engaging, and disciplined classroom environment
Liaise with school administration, parents, and other departments
Organize labs, experiments, and practical demonstrations for AS & A Level curriculum
Participate in professional development, school events, and academic committees
