Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain Siemens PCS7 control systems
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC logic
Perform hardware configuration for controllers and I/O modules
Configure Controller & IM IP addresses
Create and manage SIMATIC Manager multi-project setups
Implement and troubleshoot Modbus communication
Integrate and maintain Siemens Safety Systems
Support commissioning, testing, and operational troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with petrochemical safety and automation standards
Collaborate with engineering teams to support ongoing project execution
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation engineering
Proven experience in petrochemical or energy industry projects
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in Siemens PCS7
SIMATIC Manager (multi-project creation)
PLC programming and troubleshooting
Modbus configuration
Siemens Safety Systems
Hardware and network configuration
Certifications (Preferred):
Siemens PCS7 Certification
Functional Safety Certification (advantage)
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Average Market Salary (Estimated)
QAR 18,000 – 25,000 per month (based on role, Qatar market, and 5+ years of experience)
