Job Title:
Senior Instrumentation Specialist (Instrumentation / Automation)
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
Minimum 7–12 years of experience in instrumentation and automation projects
Strong experience across design, estimation, execution, and commissioning phases
Hands-on exposure to PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems
Responsibilities:
Support the design, estimation, and execution of instrumentation and automation projects across all project phases
Prepare and review engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, datasheets, and technical documents
Support tendering and cost estimation activities, including BOQs, scope definitions, and technical clarifications
Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and subcontractors
Participate in design reviews, technical evaluations, and vendor assessments
Support system integration activities for PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems
Assist in project planning and scheduling from a technical perspective
Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover
Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, control systems, and automation architecture
Experience in PLC/DCS/SCADA configuration, integration, and troubleshooting
Ability to prepare and review technical proposals and estimation documents
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to take technical ownership and work collaboratively across teams
Familiarity with industry standards (ISA, IEC, IEEE) is an advantage
