We are hiring a Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial and contractual activities after project award for interior fit-out and construction projects in Dubai. This role is essential for maintaining effective cost control, accurate valuations, timely payments, and contract administration through to final account closure.
The position offers direct exposure to active fit-out and construction projects, close collaboration with project managers and site teams, and responsibility for financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Cost Control:
Monitor project costs against approved budgets and cash flow
Prepare and update cost reports, cost-to-complete, and forecasts
Control variations and ensure accurate valuation and approvals
Measurement & Valuation:
Prepare and submit interim payment applications
Measure works executed on site and certify subcontractor payments
Prepare, negotiate, and agree final accounts
Contract Administration:
Administer post-contract activities in accordance with contract conditions
Review BOQs, drawings, and contract documents for discrepancies
Manage contractual correspondence, notices, and records
Variations & Claims:
Identify, evaluate, and price variations and additional works
Prepare and support Extension of Time (EOT) and cost claims
Maintain variation and claims registers
Subcontractor Management & Reporting:
Prepare subcontract agreements and payment certifications
Monitor subcontractor performance and final settlements
Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams
Provide regular commercial and management reports
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
Experience: Minimum 2–4 years UAE experience in post-contract QS roles
Industry: Interior fit-out / construction (mandatory)
Certifications: Professional QS certifications preferred
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of FIDIC and UAE contract practices
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost control tools
Soft Skills:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytical ability
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Average Market Salary (Estimated):
AED 7,500 – 11,000 per month
