Job Title: Maintenance Technician for Tissue Factory
Job Description:
Maintenance and Repair:
Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment used in tissue converting processes
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime
Installation:
Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment
Ensure that installations meet safety and operational standards
Monitoring Operations:
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize efficiency
Keep detailed records of machine performance and maintenance activities
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Conduct safety inspections and report hazards or concerns
Collaboration:
Work closely with production teams to identify areas for improvement in machinery and processes
Collaborate with engineers on machine upgrades and modifications
Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts inventory.
Assist in preparing reports on machinery performance and maintenance activities.
Training:
Provide training to operators on the proper use and maintenance of machinery
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements
Requirements
Education:
Associate’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical or a related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, PLC) are a plus
Experience:
Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or tissue converting environment
Familiarity with tissue converting machinery and processes is highly desirable
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control systems
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively
Strong analytical skills to evaluate machine performance and identify improvements
Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and report findings
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
Comfortable working in varying environments, including potentially noisy or high-temperature areas
Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required
