Position: Plastic Engineer
Location: West Shuaiba, Mina Abdullah, Kuwait
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Plastic Engineer to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operation of Plastic Plant to support filling plant in a fast paced consumer goods company.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve Plastic productivity and Process
Repair and maintenance of Injection and Blow molding machine
Repair and maintenance of molds
Identification of right polymer/material for various applications
Set up and optimize machine parameters for best output
Develop and design new molds and parts for both hot and cold runner molds
Analysis of machine and production data and suggesting improvements
Training of Machine Operators
Wastage reduction in Plastic manufacturing process
Day to day manpower management of Plastic Plant to support filling operation
Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineer or College Degree in Plastic/Polymer technology
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience
Skills:
Knowledge of Polymers and Plastic materials
Familiar Injection molding and blow molding technology and Machinery
Proficient with CAD software
