BEC Arabia, a well-established organization in the construction and contracting sector, is seeking a seasoned Business Development Team Leader to join its growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This senior role is responsible for driving strategic growth, expanding market presence, and leading high-performing business development initiatives across the organization.
The position offers significant career growth opportunities for professionals with strong leadership capabilities and deep industry knowledge. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, technical teams, and key clients to shape long-term business strategy, secure new projects, and strengthen BEC Arabia’s position in the Saudi construction market.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Development team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and contracting sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders
Oversee proposal development, pricing strategies, and bid submissions
Collaborate with technical, commercial, and project teams to prepare competitive and winning proposals
Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitors, and potential partnerships
Develop and implement business development strategies to expand market share and revenue
Prepare and present reports on opportunities, progress, pipeline, and performance to senior management
Represent the company in client meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events

Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
Certifications (Preferred):
Professional certifications in business development, sales, or project management (advantageous)

Technical & Professional Skills:
Strong understanding of the construction and contracting market
Proposal management, bidding, and pricing strategy expertise
Market analysis and strategic planning capabilities

Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication abilities
Strategic mindset with results-driven approach

Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Business Development
Construction and contracting industry experience strongly preferred

Language:
Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Compensation:
Average Market Salary (Estimated):
SAR 18,000 – SAR 25,000 per month
(Based on senior business development leadership roles in Riyadh within the construction sector and 10+ years of experience)
