Job Purpose:
To develop, manage, and update the master project schedule using MS Project, ensuring the project meets its aggressive milestones (10-month Site Readiness, 18-month Full Completion). The engineer will monitor progress, identify delays, and support claims management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a detailed, resource-loaded project schedule in MS Project for the Design & Build project, integrating design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Track progress against the baseline schedule, prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, and highlight critical delays.
• Analyze the impact of variations, delays, and changes on the overall schedule.
• Work with project managers and site engineers to update schedules based on actual site progress.
• Prepare schedule-related documentation for progress payments, extension of time (EOT) claims, and delay analysis.
• Attend project meetings and provide schedule insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure the schedule aligns with the contract milestones and Employer’s Requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, with at least 3 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Expert-level proficiency in MS Project is mandatory. Experience with Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Proven experience in planning Design & Build or fast-track industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and delay analysis.
• Must have a transferable iqama.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
