Job Purpose:
To coordinate all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) design and installation, with a specialist focus on HVAC systems for industrial food production environments. The role ensures MEP systems are designed and installed per specifications, achieving required performance for production and warehouse areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, specification, and approval of HVAC systems for production halls (ventilation with dehumidification), warehouses, and silo areas.
• Coordinate full MEP design (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) with structural and architectural teams.
• Prepare and submit MEP technical submissions for Client approval and statutory authorities (Civil Defense, MODON).
• Review and approve MEP subcontractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Oversee MEP installation on site, ensuring quality, compliance with drawings, and schedule adherence.
• Conduct inspections and tests (pressure tests, duct leakage tests, balancing) for HVAC systems.
• Resolve technical queries and site issues related to MEP services.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7–10 years of MEP experience, with at least 5 years in a coordination role in Saudi Arabia.
• Specialist proven experience in HVAC design for industrial facilities, especially food production, cold storage, or controlled environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Civil Defense requirements for MEP systems.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Carrier E20, or similar) and AutoCAD/Revit.
• Must have a transferable iqama.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
